Downward to deep earth (Leye, Guangxi)
This is a place of great unknown; it has the largest groups of Tiankeng (extraordinary pits) of this world.
The natural conditions of Leye County in Guangxi Province are very unique. According to the study of the experts from over ten countries (China, US, Britain, Japan, France and so on), a total of 28 pits have been discovered within 20 square kilometers – a world record both in number and density. Of the world’s 13 super pits, 7 are distributed in Yele, for which it gains the fame “capital for world pits” and “world museum for pits.”
